Baby weight loss is not complicated. It’s difficult. But the steps to getting there. The steps to results are not complicated. And the way that you can make this journey so much easier, is by simply allowing yourself to enjoy the foods that you love. And if some of the foods that you’ve been indulging in, are longer supporting you in reaching your goals, there are ways that you can create healthier alternatives that WILL help you get the results you’re after. As a coach who has lost over 120 pounds herself, I know how excruciating this journey can be, how overwhelming. How anxiety inducing. And how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re doing everything right and not seeing any results. But this doesn’t have to be such a painful experience. Something I tell my clients when they first start coaching with me is that in order for these results to be sustainable we have to create balance. when I first started my weight loss journey, I used to restrict myself so much, I would demonize so many different kinds of foods that diet culture had brainwashed me, and into believing were the reason why I wasn’t able to reach the results I was looking for. Which just led me to cycles of binging, and creating a very unhealthy relationship between nutrition and my body. Through proper education on macronutrients, I was able to heal this relationship. And this is how I help my clients and maintain their goals as well. Education is power. During my 120 pound weight loss journey I failed more times than I can count. More times than I succeeded. I failed because I was constantly trying to be perfect. Because I thought everyone else had it figured out except for me. Because I never was consistent long enough to actually see anything work. Because I was always hyped up on the next fat diet, detox, cleanse, crazy, high intensity, workout program… none of which were sustainable. None of which actually got me results. The only thing that actually got me to where I am. Today is time, patience, and consistency. Consistency with nutrition. Consistency with training. Consistency with rest. Consistency with grace. And consistency reconnecting to my WHY. Baby, if you’re on your weight, loss, journey, or your hesitating to start again because you’re scared that you might fail again. Then now is the perfect time to start. Then now is the perfect time to follow through. Now is the time to prove to yourself, that you can do absolutely anything that you set your mind to.
