Can we normalize not spending a million dollars on a wedding if you don’t need to. For me hiring a makeup artist wasn’t important cause I can do my own makeup - why did I need to spend $500-$1000 on that if it wasn’t that important to me? And that’s not shade to people who can do their own makeup and still hire a makeup artist - if that’s something that is important to them than it’s obviously worth it.
