Decluttered these shelves in our master closet over the weekend! I have been so intimidated to start decluttering our closet. It's big and there's a lot in there! I have a hard time with holding on to clothes even though I only wear a handful of what I own. The closet is also such an easy spot to store stuff when I want it out of sight from our bedroom. And I have my vanity with all my makeup in our closet so there's just a lot going on in here! I knew this was a project that had to be broken up into much smaller pieces. These shelves felt like a good way to ease myself into decluttering our closet. I use these shelves for some of my purses, nail polish, headbands, and towels. They were definitely not organized well and I had too many of everything! I got rid of things that were not in good enough shape to be donated and donated everything that someone else could still get use out of! It's been on my list to get new towels. Most of what we had were in rough shape! They were tattered and discolored and we had such a mix from different sets over the years. The ones that were still in good shape are now in our guest bathroom. There's something about all white towels that makes it feel you feel like you're in a fancy hotel on vacation and I'm loving how they look! Getting some new organizational containers made a huge difference for this space too! I love the acrylic holders for my designer bags. I don't have a huge collection of special bags, but I want to take care of and appreciate the ones I do.
