For the milk producing crowd, i apologize for this traumatizing content as I know spilt milk is trult a painful endeavor. The purpose of this video was to show you how we bag milk and in efforts there was a true sacrifice, may the golden juice from my wife’s golden balloons rest in peace. The dog ended up licking it up anyway so technically it wasnt a waste. anyway, in short, wifey has been slowly building a freezer supply mainly off her haaka. At the end of the day I would bag the day’s milk in increments of 5oz. We do 5 oz bc it’s an avg of what our first drank when we started using the stash (around 5/6 months). You can, of course freeze them in increments of whatever you want! The party trick is to seal the bag 90% of the way, and then squeeze the breastmilk to the top of the bag very slowly until there’s no more air and then you di the final seal. This way the bag lays flat in the freezer and youre able to stack them easier or do what most do and make “bricks” which are just these breast milk bags combined in a gallon size ziploc.
