My VA journey so far — I've been inactive because I thought I was prepared for this already, but it turns out I'm not. My friends have told me it's going to take patience and perseverance, and that there'll be waiting. A lot of waiting. Yep! I've been applying for a month now, and I still have not found a client that matches what I have to offer for a VA role. I have passed an agency and started training, but it just wasn't for me. (I have a standard, and it's okay.) I have clients reaching out to me, but it just wasn't for me. (Again, standards.) I have friends who referred me, but I haven't heard from them about the role yet. It's been tough since I am so used to doing something and having work. I have been checking my emails every day, and I've been scheduling appointments for interviews. 8 years of BPO experience is nothing in this industry.
