A significant moment in John Deere history 🥹 Yesterday we trucked the last moldboard plow manufactured by Deere & Company to the John Deere Archive. John Deere’s first plow created in 1837 was the cataylst to Deere’s intial success and transformed agriculture. Today, techlogy and industry trends have developer, moldboard plows are no longer used as often as they once were. Our dealership, for example, hasn’t sold a plow since 2013 as customers gravitate towards rippers, discs, and vertical tillage tools.
