I grew up with a single mother and was never taught much about cooking or baking, due to her being so busy with work trying to keep a roof over our head and food on the table. Cooking anything no matter what it was was always a rush and there was never time for me to learn. Now that I am mother myself I have no choice but to learn these things. Thankfully God has blessed me with a wonderful man who had learned all these things from his grandmother and can share his knowledge with me. He is still the main cook in the house however I am learning and trying things out myself and doing pretty good so far. I definitely prefer baking because I love it and feel passionate about it since I have began to do it.
