Ok this was actually incredible… @Anna Paul’s family recipe for Turkish pasta, with a few tweaks! Def lived up to the hype - recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -kosher salt -1 pound short pasta of choice -1 tbsp olive oil -1 small yellow onion, fine diced -6 cloves garlic, minced, divided -3 tbsp tomato paste -1 lb ground beef -freshly cracked black pepper -2 tsp paprika, divided -1 tsp cayenne pepper, divided -1 cup plain Greek yogurt -1 lemon, divided -4 tbsp salted butter -1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered -1 cucumber, diced -fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish -crumbled feta, for serving Directions: -Heavily salt a pot of water and bring it to boil. Add in the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside. -Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium. Add in the onion and cook until translucent, about 8 minutes. Add in half the minced garlic, and cook about 30 seconds. Add in the tomato paste and cook about 5 minutes, until slightly darkened. -Add in the ground beef and break apart into tiny pieces. Add in a hefty pinch kosher salt, black pepper, half the paprika, and half the cayenne. Cook, stirring often, until fully dark brown and slightly crisped up. -Into a bowl, add in the Greek yogurt, a large pinch kosher salt, the other half of the minced garlic, and juice of half the lemon. Stir to mix. Set aside. -In a small pan over medium low, add in the butter, the other half of paprika, and the other half of cayenne. Cook and mix just until the butter is melted. Remove from heat. -Serve the cooked pasta in bowls, and top with the cooked beef mixture. Top that with some of the yogurt mixture and the melted butter mixture. Garnish with the tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, and feta. Squeeze the other half of the lemon juice over top. Stuffed avocados! 🥑 with shrimp teriyaki 🍤🤘🏼 get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients (for 2-4 servings) -1 tbsp sesame oil -1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, cut into small cubes -kosher salt -black pepper -1/3 cup teriyaki sauce -2 scallions, finely sliced -1/4 cup cucumber, small diced -2 ripe avocados, halved and pits removed -1/2 cup uncooked sushi rice, cooked according to package instructions -2 tbsp soy sauce -sesame seeds, for garnish -sriracha, for garnish Directions: -Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then add to the pan & sauté for about 5 minutes, until just cooked through. Add in the teriyaki sauce to coat the shrimp. Remove from heat & allow to cool slightly. -In a large bowl, add in the cooked teriyaki shrimp. Add in about 3/4 of the sliced scallions, plus the cucumber. Stir to mix. -In the halved avocados, fill the holes with the cooked sushi rice, then pour on the soy sauce. My favorite way to eat cucumbers! 🥒🫶🏼 Korean-style cucumber kimchi - get the recipe below‼️ Ingredients: -6-8 mini cucumbers -2 tablespoons kosher salt -1/4 cup tablespoon rice vinegar -2 tablespoons soy sauce -1 tablespoon sesame oil -1/2 tbsp gochujang -1/2 to 1 tablespoon gochugaru (depending how spicy you like it) -2 teaspoons granulated sugar -3 garlic cloves, minced -1 tablespoon sesame seeds -1 tablespoon scallions, finely sliced Directions:
-Going in a diagonal motion, cut small slits in each cucumber's, being careful not to cut all the way through the cucumber. Once done on one side, flip the cucumber upside down and cut in the same direction in small diagonal slits (this should create a slinky effect). Place into a large bowl. Sprinkle on kosher salt, making sure to get it in the nooks and crannies. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes to draw out excess moisture, then squeeze out the liquid. -In a small bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, gochujang, gochugaru, sugar, minced garlic, sesame seeds, and scallions until well combined and sugar is dissolved. -Toss sauce over cucumbers to evenly coat. Replying to @who am I just giving the ppl what they want 😅 recipe is also below in this caption‼️ Ingredients (for 4 churros) -1/2 cup water -2 1/2 tbsp cold butter, cubed -3 tbsp granulated sugar, divided -large pinch salt -1/2 cup flour -1/2 tsp vanilla extract -1 egg -cooking spray -1/2 tsp cinnamon Directions: -In a medium pot over medium heat, add in the water, butter, 1 tbsp sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium low, and add in the flour. Use a spatula to stir in the flour in until it’s all incorporated. -Set the mixture into a mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly (about 5 minutes). Add in the vanilla extract and egg, and use an electric mixer or stand mixer to mix. Stop once the dough is evenly incorporated. -Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray it with cooking spray. Place the dough into a piping bag with a large star tip. Squeeze out the churros, about 5 inches long each. Use scissors to cut the dough. Place the churros into the fridge for an hour. -Preheat air fryer to 350 and spray the basket with cooking spray. Spray the churros with cooking spray and place them onto the basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. -On a plate, combine the remaining 2 tbsp sugar and cinnamon. Stir to mix, then roll the cooked churros in the sugar mixture.
