This one hurts! 😑 After 2 days of bad weather and rain 🌧️ delays, NHRA called us to the lanes for round #2 eliminations with more rain coming! I ended up being the first pair out and the only pair in the Top Dragster class that ran round #2 ! Hubby and my dad were behind me in the water box and right after my run, hubby was about to stage at the light ready to make his run (2nd pair out) and NHRA called it off again as the rain began to pour and then hail storm hit all within 30min. I was at the top end of the track with rain coming down. What really hurt was my component and I both went red! I was a -.011 to his -.020 red on the tree but since my car moved first off the tree being the slower car in bracket racing I did not get the win light…. And I went dead on 8 with my dial! Ugh!!!! The frustration! So freaking close and the car ran its number. NHRA announced they will fit in the round #2 eliminations through the next races… so for my dad and hubby and the rest of the class- they will just need to wait more 😂 lol!
