March was a whirlwind of emotions, lessons, and growth. From regaining more sensation and making good connections with my fellow humans, to traveling all over the country for work, while being at the Freedom LKN facility when I’m home. Every day I’m tested a little more but with God’s grace and support I get through it, holding tight to Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. In June of 2023 I began what I would call a quarterly eval. I would review that quarter. What went well? What didn’t? What habits are working? What habits are not? This honest review allowed me to pivot to keep moving in the direction I wanted to move. #mindset #growth #develop #strength #review

I am so proud of how I did in the most recent CrossFit open. Preparing for surgery last year set me up for a successful recovery. Recovery hasn’t been easy, I’ve had issues with my back engaging properly, causing me to do extra PT style fitness rather than heavy weight lifting like I would like. When I saw the pull ups in 24.3 I was nervous. I didn’t think I could get one. I got 26. That’s a win in my book. I’m excited to get stronger. I want to give a big shoutout to Crossfit Muse for giving Bri and I a home to compete in while in LA. Yall are the best. 🫶🏼 #crossfit #open #strength #fitness #wheelwithme #wheelwod
