The experience was made extra special by the details like the hotel having their own vegetable & herb garden to use in their dishes! And oh man was the food DELICIOUS! This former mansion converted into a beautiful hotel was restored by my paisan Francis Ford Coppola , the legend who directed the Godfather, The Outsiders, Apocalypse Now & so much more! What are the odds that we are from the same town of only 13,000 people! This was a special trip & we thank our famiglia for taking us in and going above and beyond for us, making sure we got the true Bernalda experience!
