While embarking on this project, I allowed my instincts to lead, resulting in a painting that, for a long while, I found difficult to embrace. In fact, I came quite close to resenting it as it felt so overpowering and intense, which didint resonate with me. Yet its looming size made it impossible to cast aside, forcing me to confront it time and again. With each glance, I began to see beyond its apparent disarray and into the intricate dance of chaos and order it depicted. Over time, my disdain transformed into deep admiration, teaching me a profound lesson about the ever-evolving nature of art and self-perception. Today, it holds a place of honour in my personal collection and I so look forward to the day it hangs up in my own home, reminding me of the impermanence of our judgments and the unpredictable nature of artistic expression.
