“I CHEATED ON MY DIET…how do I fix it” ‼️ If you are like me AND truly enjoy to have a free meal or even a day completely off from your plan once a week/month, PLAN IT IN take responsibility. As long as you aren’t an athlete that has a strict regimen to follow, why shouldn’t you every now and then be able to “indulge a little” ‼️ We always want what we cannot/shouldn’t have! Hence the reason why you always want to have things you restrict yourself from..and why you feel like you are cheating when you aren’t following your plan. So stop with the restrictions and instead focus on WHY you are eating “the healthy foods” - it fuels you so why wouldn’t you? ‼️ 1..or a couple free meal WILL NOT destroy all the hard work you have done. You might retain some water but that will be flushed out. You might even gain some energy to train harder! Own your decision and do not for a second hate yourself for doing so. Here are my tips to you how to get in control and how to rebalance when quote on quote falling off: 1️⃣ Track your progress every day after a bigger treat so that you see you AREN’T changing as much as you think you are. Stay accountable. 2️⃣ DRINK WATER!! Only way to flush water out is to get water in. It also helps you feel satiated and full. 3️⃣ Aid your digestion and your microbiome health to curb cravings through ensuring your stomach can pick up and utilize the nutrients from all the good food that you are now back on track eating (!) 4️⃣ ..because nr 4 MAKE SURE YOU GET BACK TO YOUR ROUTINE. Don’t skip out on eating, don’t change anything radical. 5️⃣ Knowledge is key. Learn about calories and macros. Get to know how your body reacts to certain food groups/micro nutrients. 6️⃣ Get active. Push yourself, maybe this little influx of calories fuels your workouts to the extent that you can gain some more muscles. BUT do not train because you ate.
