A wee walk up to the fairy pools of Skye with my mum (and brother) last year! I am actually back on Skye today and it’s MUCH warmer now than it was in these clips - the fairies were still hibernating at this time 😅 These large ponds of water are found at the base of waterfalls throughout the Isle of Skye, and they’re often a destination for those who choose to set off in search of a good hike. Their crystalline waters and seeming magical aura comes from the way these pools emit hues of various green and blue from underneath the surface.
