My first very informal conversation about the New York Times article that I helped out on last year as a source/subject/whatever you would call me haha. David Herbert was a fantastic investigator and author to work with and I think this is the start to huge change for cheer over the next few years. Cheerleading is such a huge topic in my life and I could literally talk for hours about it, but I want a more open dialogue! With the Netflix Cheer documentary, and all the scandals since, cheer got a lot of exposure that has not equated to much change in the sport.
