This adjustment is a great example of so many things… 1️⃣ Protection FIRST : muzzles are essential in situations like this with larger dogs, who have pain, and it is important to protect both the dog & myself 2️⃣ YES - Dogs YELP during adjustments!I have said it before & will again - I work on many dogs that are in pain & this is their way of communicating that. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t adjust, it just comes with the territory when it’s an unexpected, possibly uncomfortable situation. 3️⃣ I WILL MAKE SUGGESTIONS!
