“We were just going to do two jumps. 😅” Swedish champion @josefintaljegard performs an (unexpected) full run through of her 2024 Short Program to “Wicked Game”, only days after competing at the World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal, taking a 9 hour bus ride to NYC, and arriving on the ice at 6am the following morning. No rest for the wicked, apparently! Josefin had this to say after the camera finally cut: “I thought if I did my full program in one take, I’d be sick. So I planned to do just the first two jumps until the spin. After the spin, I didn’t have much speed, but I went for the axel anyways. And then I just kept going, focusing on one element at a time, just like I do in competition.” Thank you Josefin for taking the time out of your NYC trip to film your programs.
