I know how im supposed to feel, i’m supposed to feel elated, exstatic, on cloud nine and completely over the moon to have my loose skin removed after completing my weightloss journey. And I am. But i’m also all of these emotions too. A before and after photo doesnt show the journey in between. The mental and physical impacts of major surgery, of saying goodbye to a part of you and the pit of dread over the realities of a permanent change to your body.
