I saw @jennakutcher share this and was so touched by the comments, it made me want to jump on this trend with my community too. Even as I approach the last year in my 30s, I still find myself wanting to have the answers to the season of life I'm in and to the seasons that are to come. Wouldn't it be lovely to come together and share with one another, to be guided and built up by one another. Can you imagine the decades of women who would've loved being connected to each other in this way. Let's ask some questions or simply reply to help us out! I'll go first in comments. "Older women are to disciple younger women, teaching them how to grow in godliness in their distinct relationships and calling." Do I have a degree in design? No, but I do have a degree in English and Journalism. Somewhere along the way though, I realized I also had a clean eye for design. I simply did what I loved and went with my gut. It landed me a social following, my homes in magazines, a book deal on design, tv segments, and more. I say all of that to stay, I didn't have magnificent dreams of becoming a designer. It wasn't in the "plan." Design and creativity came after a very dark time in my life. Imagine that? Creativity for me was birthed through hardship. Sometimes our road ebbs and flows and sometimes you have to take the road less traveled. You have to trust in the hardship, trust in your gut, and trust in the plan God has for you, but most importantly you have to let yourself be open to doors you may not have otherwise walked through. Who knows where hardships may take you? Along the way, you'll discover so much beauty. Not only about yourself but about those around you too. Take the road less traveled ladies! I believe in you. #adoption #design # diy #nontoxicliving #realestate #author #bosslady #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #homeschool #tennessee #momlife #momboss #design #interiordesign #decor #blogger #designers #interiordecor
