This 40 Garlic Short rib recipe by @kasimjhardaway will TRULY leave you speechless. 4 lb beef short ribs 2 bunches thyme 2 tbsp olive oil, divided 40 garlic cloves 2 bay leaves 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1 large white onion, roughly chopped 8 c beef broth soy sauce black pepper chives salt In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Sear short ribs on each side for 3 mins, undisturbed. Transfer to a plate & set aside. Add an additional tbsp of olive oil. Sauté garlic & onion for 3-4 mins. Add ½ c of beef broth to deglaze pan. Add short ribs to Crock-Pot Slow Cooker with Sous Vide along with garlic-onion mixture, remaining 7 ½ c of beef broth, worcestershire sauce, thyme & bay leaves. Insert the temperature probe through one of the lid openings, piercing the thickest part of the meat. Cook on low with a target temperature of 205°F. Once fully cooked, transfer short ribs to a plate & rest for 15 mins. Remove any fat from the top of the braising liquid. Using an immersion blender puree the sauce & vegetables. Pour into a skillet thicken with a cornstarch slurry. Season with soy sauce & pepper, to taste.
