Let me share with you three common cleaning mistakes & how to fix them, featuring some of my favorite @Sprayway cleaning products. Stop using vinegar to clean your stone surfaces. The acid in the vinegar will etch and dull natural stones. It can slowly dissolve them. It can also break down any sealer applied to your Stone. Instead, use a stone specialty cleaner like Sprayway Granite & Marble Cleaner.The primary purpose of this cleaner is to remove dirt, stains, and grime from stone surfaces while preserving its natural appearance and texture. It cleans effectively without damaging the surface. If you can't get a streak-free mirror, turn the overhead lights off. The light's heat will make the glass cleaner dry faster, resulting in noticeable streaks. Once the light is off, spray some Sprayway, and instead of using a paper towel, use a microfiber towel. Start at the top in a corner and work in a zig-zag motion all the way down to the bottom. This method allows you to clean every inch, plus it further helps you to lessen any streaks. If you’re going to disinfect a surface like a toilet, do not spray your disinfecting cleaner & then immediately start wiping the toilet. You have to let the product sit to disinfect properly. Typically, the label on your cleaner will provide the precise time. Let me show you how I store my powder cleanser, in particular, bar keepers friends. Now, maybe you don't use bar keepers like I do, but this same method can be applied to any powder cleanser that doesn't come with a lid like Powder Comet. I like to store it in a seasoning jar. But I use a jar that can be sealed—not something like this or this, but something like what's in that box. You need the powder to stay sealed when it's not in use so that it can remain fresh and not clump up on you. I remove the lid with a can opener and pour the powder into the jar. Any excess powder that falls out lands in the measuring cup, and then I pour it back into the can and keep filling my jars with powder bar keepers friend. Once I'm done, I add the clear disc on top and then put the lid on them. And they're ready to go. The seasoning jar fits perfectly in my cleaning caddy. I pull it out when I need to clean a surface at a job, sprinkle the powder cleanser, put the lid back on, and it goes back into my caddy. If you’re cleaning a shower glass door, & there isn’t a detachable shower head to rinse the cleaning product off the glass door, take a spray bottle, fill it with water, & get a squeegee. Spray the glass door with water, & then use your squeegee to wipe the product off of the door. I like to do this because I can control where the water goes & I won’t get splashed with water. Another way I like to use my spray water bottle is when I’m cleaning an oven. You don’t want any cleaning product to stay behind in your oven, so it’s important to ensure your oven has been rinsed well with water when you are done cleaning it. Here is my entire kitchen deep cleaning process. I spray the oven with the blue can of Easy Off. I move on to the dishwasher. I tossed in the @affresh® appliance care tablet and started a normal cycle. I remove everything from the fridge, including the shelves and the drawers. The glass shelves need to come to room temperature before I wash them. This is so the glass doesn’t shatter when I use hot, soapy water to clean them. I also unplug the fridge. I Used @ATHOS Cleaners multi-surface cleaner to clean the inside of the fridge. Since it is an all-natural cleaning product, it is safe to use in areas that store food, like the fridge. There were some watermarks on the outside of the fridge, so I used @Bar Keepers Friend and a wet scrub Mommy sponge to remove this buildup. I follow up with @Sprayway stainless steel polish. I wash the shelves and the drawers with hot, soapy water. I use my microfiber duster to dust the high areas. I use the Athos cleaner and microfiber towel to clean the cabinets and the countertops. I removed the Coils, drip trays, and hood filters. I spray them with dawn and let them soak while I clean the stovetop. To clean this stove top, I used Dawn. Once I was done scrubbing, I rinsed the soap off with water, and then I followed up with barkeeper’s friend to remove any remaining stains. To clean the oven, I used SOS pads and a razor scraper. Then, I cleaned the baseboards with the Athos. I vacuumed the floors with the @bissellsocial Zing vacuum.
