Come with me on my speaking gig at The British Library in London for the BIPC centres across the UK. It was called the CAKE event! And you all know how much I love cake! I had plenty of it. Anyway. my day started with opting for comfy boots (I love my Dr. Martins) and jumping in the car to get to St Pancras. Having got to St Pancras, I took a short stroll to the British Library, along Euston Road, and passed the St Pancras Hotel. Once I arrived, I walked into the library and was quite wowed! My talk was going to be at the conference centre. I always arrive early to relax before people arrive and then network to get an idea of the audience and their knowledge of social media. My first talk was in the main theatre room, followed by some breakout sessions on the key steps to creating their content plan. And, of course, it consisted of more cake! After the event, I enjoyed a tour around the library and relaxed, taking in some fantastic sightseeing! What a fabulous day!
