after quite literally crying for 3 days straight, I finally regained access to my hacked account and tiktok somehow restored ALL the content the hacker deleted. leave it to me to quit my job to focus on my content creation business full time and immediately have this happen😵‍💫…let my terrible lapse in judgement be a HUGE warning to anyone who creates content on this app: TIKTOK WILL ALMOST NEVER CONTACT YOU OUTSIDE OF THE APP! always check the sender’s email address. trust nothing! I always try to assume the best in people and give them the benefit of the doubt but there are BAD people out there who will do evil things. do not ever let your guard down when it comes to the internet. this really can happen to anyone and there’s no guarantee tiktok will help you if it happens to you.
