I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked for recipes to cook over an open fire. You know, for when we’re roughing it in our RV 🙃 And, listen, I get that people equate any form of camping to open fire cooking but if it’s not obvious by now we’re not roughing it when we’re on the road with our rig. 😅 Since my grain mill and mixer were still in the camper from our trip to FL last week I decided to get our dinner rolls mixed up in there. Which then reminded me of those often requested open fire recipes so I decided to document the process to really blow the mind of the collective internet 😜 I didn’t get all influencer-ed up for all you. My hair is dirty, I put a light coat of mascara on and I’m wearing my cousin’s awesome Brazil sweatshirt she left at my house with my too big but oh so comfy sweats I have to roll up at the waist. In other words here’s to normalizing cooking and recording reels in pieced together comfy clothes rather than like we’re heading out to church 😅 because y’all that’s not my daily attire 🫣 I did end up letting the rolls rise and bake in the house because I needed to get dinner started but i hope the prep and mixing processes shows how truly livable and luxurious RVs can be!
