Come with me to set up my ball python’s new habitat! 🦎 I got this 4x2x2 enclosure from @zenhabitats, and in my opinion, ball pythons really do thrive with more room, as long as the enclosure has lots of cover. Although the heat lamps are not pictured, make sure they have a basking spot of 85-90 degrees. They do not require UV light, but I added one from @Ryan McVeigh anyway as it helps with the plants, and more studies are coming out saying it’s beneficial. Their humidity should be around 50-60%, and they should have a warm hide, cool hide, and a water bowl big enough to soak in. There’s many options for substrate as I’ve discussed in the video, but I got a @Josh’s Frogs mix from the DFW Reptarium.
