Special guests in Detroit: Arctic Trucks expedition vehicles! These bad lads are headed north on their way to the North Pole. They stopped off here in town for a minute to say hi and sample our local flavor. This is just a handful of the vehicles going up - they’re meeting with a larger contingent to complete the first ever wheeled pole-to-pole circumnavigation of the globe, which is wild. It’ll take 17 months to complete. They’re carrying a whole mess of scientific instruments to measure cosmic radiation and ice thickness as they go along.
