Coverup! ✨ 3 sessions done here to coverup an older tattoo that had some negative feelings associated with it. My lovely client did not feel great about the placement, design, and how it healed (very scarred). The design reminded her of a hate symbol and felt uncomfortable showing off her back, wondering if strangers would also see the similarities and associate her with that message. The sacred and beautiful symbolism of the ankh was conjuring the wrong energy because of a poor design. We created a lovely, ornate, gothic piece across her entire upper back that is much more her style and couldn’t be confused for anything else. This is why I love what I do.
