Last year from June to about August, I experienced extreme hair fall out. I had lost around 70 lbs, and once i hit the 50-60 lb mark my hair just started falling out like crazy. I had my extensions in for about 6 weeks and the second picture shows the amount of shedding I had. I was SHOCKED. As someone who does extensions on a regular basis, i have NEVER in my career seen so much hair shedded after a round of sew in wefts and when it happened to be the worst on my own head, i panicked. Fast forward to March 2024, and the first pic was the shedding when i took my wefts out after 6 weeks. This is NORMAL. The second picture is NOT. With that said, STAY CALM if you are going through hair loss. Stress, weight loss, life changes, etc…ALL of these things have an effect on us! Make sure your diet is on point, take your vitamins, and use products good for you and your hair, and it will grow back.
