And if you’re new here, hi 👋 I’m Michelle… follow @7daysofplay for more fun ideas for kids, tips for grown ups, and fun products for families! This paper worm activity is SO easy to set up and a fun way for kids to strengthen fine motor skills, develop hand-eye coordination, and it’s also a great way to talk about colors (for young ones learning color vocabulary)! 🌈 Save this post so you have the step by step instructions below! 👇 WHAT YOU’LL NEED • Paper Towels • Washable Markers • Chopstick • Permanent Marker • Dropper • Dish of water HOW TO (1) Cut out 6 paper towel squares. (2) Use washable colors to color one side of the paper towel; use a different color for each square. (3) Using a chopstick, roll the paper towel around it tightly. (Make sure you are hiding the color side.) (4) Pull the paper towel off the chopstick slowly. The paper towel should scrunch up but not too tightly. (5) Use a permanent marker to add eyes and a mouth to your worm! (6) Fill a dropper up with water and spray it on the paper towel worms to make them grow and turn colors! #kidsactivities #playideas #toddlerplay #toddleractivity #prek
