From chaos, we found peace 🤍 2022 was the year we found a way of training that worked for us and put in the work to reduce Winnie’s reactivity. 2023 was the year we built on our training from 2022, growing Winnie’s confidence and massively deepening our relationship. Finding and testing new limits (reactivity while running, anxious fosters, group training classes etc.) and working to overcome them. 2024 is the year of enjoying life together and sitting in our peace. Training because it’s fun, going on more adventures, and enjoying this place that we’re worked SO hard to get to. Of course, we will continue to do all the things from previous years to maintain Winnie’s training and continue to improve where we can. But new challenges now are more exciting to me than stressful or daunting. I feel confident in the skills and strategies we’ve developed to face whatever new challenges 2024 brings us 💪 The purpose of our training was never to “fix” Winnie’s reactivity. It was to find a way to enjoy our lives together, peacefully. While we put training first majority of the time, sometimes, management over training is the best thing you can do for both you and your dog’s mental health 💛 What is 2024 looking like for you?
