I am constantly asked “how am I able to travel with Magnus?” or “how is he so well behaved in public places that are filled with distractions?” This video shows the FIRST time that Magnus flew on an airplane. We were taking a flight from New York to California; not an easy task especially since we were flying out of JFK International airport in NYC which is ALWAYS extremely crowded and very chaotic. The reason Magnus is allowed to fly with me in the main cabin is because he is not only a certified therapy dog, but he is also my task trained service dog. If you notice in the video Magnus is ALWAYS locked on me, ignoring EVERYTHING around him. This is due to the way I trained him. He knows when its time to be a be goofy, run around and do zoomies, but also when it’s time to be laser focused and pay attention to me, and only me.
