LET THAT BISH SIT 👏🏽 (The gloss that is) I primarily use @redken seq behind the chair and it is so so crucial for me to let the clients color sit. Every scenario and head of hair is different but when coloring I have always had the best results letting my colors sit as long as possible. Redken Shades EQ processing time is recommended at 20 min on dry hair. But I know sometimes that can be hard to do. Here’s my go to processing times for longevity and beautiful color when it comes to the scenario ⬇️ Lowlights: 20 min on dry hair All over color: 20 min on dry hair Hair Filling: 20 min on wet hair Root Melts: 20 min on wet hair All Over Glosses: I always keep my eye on but that sweet spot for me is 10 min on wet hair 🤌🏻 Scared to let that gloss sit? Here’s my tips. Add warmth, don’t formulate darker than desired level and walk away. I always say once the color starts to look scary in the bowl or in the foil, it needs a minute or two longer for the most stunning color when blown out.
