I made a list talking about places you should travel to in 2024 but I made it a little more generic for the public. In general, I think that people are always told to travel to the same places every year. There are so many amazing places in the world that the average person doesn’t go to because the media makes them think that it’s unsafe. so where should you travel to this year? Are these places really unsafe? Personally, highly recommend going to Socotra. It is part of Yemen however, it is so gorgeous and it is unaffected by any conflict that happens in the main country of Yemen. I also think that more people should visit South Sudan. There are some issues with a bit of corruption in the government and police force however, as long as you have permits, and you go with someone who is knowledgeable, you will have a good time. Should I travel to Pakistan? I think for a long time Pakistan has probably gotten a bad name as being a travel destination… But I think in 2024 more people should visit Pakistan. It is such an interesting country with great street food and very diverse culture. Burundi is also an amazing and beautiful country that definitely does not get any of the recognition that it deserves. I don’t know who would ever think that Burundi is a dangerous country but I do not find Burundi to be dangerous at all if I had to be very safe and welcoming with a lot of interesting activities , that simply felt very fun.
