How to diffuse a situation nicely if someone wants to meet a dog who can’t or shouldn’t meet others on walks or outings! At the end of the day, I don’t expect everyone to know to not approach. Many people haven’t owned a dog with reactivity. I recommend having a canned response that advocates for yoir dog, but still the puts positive vibes into the air! I have a few go-to’s to make these situations pretty seamless..
