Marissa Part 2: it takes time to get over this big concept of experiencing yourself in such a brand new wayin the True Mirror. I think part of it is how open and vulnerable you can be with yourself, seeing and interacting with deep emotions that just don't show up in mirrors. It's about information, how we communicate our thoughts and feelings which are intimately tied to our facial expressions. Others will see and interact with our expressions from the perspective of another person, and usually the information is conveyed pretty accurately. But when it's yourself, that intensity of communication flow is doubled, because you already know what's in your mind,and now your face is accurately portraying it. In mirrors, your face tends to become a mask, which filters and then short circuits our emotional response The swirl of self image thoughts and emotions Marissa was having and seeing was truly strong and impactful. Over the next few minutes (part 3, 4 and 5) she found ways to readjust and come to terms with who she was seeing. It was very beautiful 🥰 The thing is that even though it's strange at first, in the end, it's just you, and only you, looking back. Coming home to your real, true self might be uncanny and uncomfortable at first, but it's really solid, rewarding and productive in the end.
