Personal Injury #Collision #2024-756234 Northbound Don Valley Parkway near Spanbridge Rd Traffic Services 416-808-1900 Case #: 24-756234 On Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at 1:11am, police received a report of a personal injury collision involving a construction worker and a motor vehicle in the closed construction zone in the northbound lanes on the Don Valley Parkway near Spanbridge Rd overpass, in the City of Toronto. It is reported that: • A motor vehicle described as possibly a “light coloured” SUV was travelling northbound on the right shoulder, well within the marked construction zone • A construction worker was struck • The motor vehicle did not stop and fled the scene northbound on the Don Valley Parkway • The construction worked suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries, remains in hospital • The driver and vehicle are outstanding and the vehicle likely has front end damage - Investigators are seeking any #dashcamera footage, surveillance footage or information that may assist the investigation.
