I always grew up believing I wasn’t book smart. I often struggled with adhd, leading me to fail classes in Elemantry school and honestly, I never really cared to apply myself in school. When the pandemic started at the end of my 8th grade year, I registered for honors classes freshman year knowing they would all be online (all thanks to my mom for motivating me). After giving myself the initial push, I dedicate time to school and I quickly saw progress. I began to take AP and Dual Enrollment courses, gaining a large amount of college credits as a high school student. During this time, I not only improved academically but socially. I joined my schools Debate team, NHS, CSF, became a MUN captian & worship leader, founded MENA on my schools campus, etc. From this experience, I truly learned that everyone is smart and all it takes is a mindset.
