I was def guilty of using the same hairbrush for years and not always cleaning it as promptly as I should have. I quit that habit QUICK after I learned what can accumulate in your brushes. I actually threw out every brush that I had and bought new ones. Here’s what I look for in a good hair brush • NO back padding (aka that cushy thing that holds the bristles) • NO beads on top of each bristle (you know what I’m talking about these goddamn things make it so hard to clean your brushes and remove the white stuff in your brush. By the way that white stuff is dead skin cells, & left over product) • Easy to clean - a brush that allows you to pull apart each bristle and clean every inch of the brush • Material that is quick drying - we don’t want any moisture build up because that can cause mold in your brushes, so the faster my brushes can dry, the better • Detangling features - we don’t want to rip our hair out with a shitty brush Switching your brush alone will help increase the shine in your hair because not as much nastiness will be building up Now, how to clean your brush - this is my little secret Washing your brushes with your ACV shampoo has made my hair SO SHINY. So basically I’ll pull out any hair in the brush (it’s very easy and takes 2 seconds when you don’t have those damn beads on each bristle), then I soak it in warm water Grab my ACV shampoo and scrub it, making sure to clean each panel and bristle Shake it off and dry with a paper towel This not only leaves my brushes squeaky clean but adds sooooo much shine to my hair Clean your brushes frequently 👏🏻👏🏻 I’m telling you it’s going to make such a difference #cleanyourbrushes #hairbrushing #hairbrushclean #viralbrush
