I Turned A Water Bottle Into Filament🤯 🖨️ I figured out how to: (1) Melt the texture off the plastic bottles. (2) Cut the plastic into fine strips with my 3D printed bottle cutter. (3) Extrude the strips into the nozzle of my self built machine (that I drilled a 1.5mm bit out of). (4) Set the temperature settings right to get the optimal heating degree. (5) Turn plastic into filament! Now I need to figure out how to: (1) Fix my mechanical pulley so it does not get stuck when pulling the filament. (2) Attach my filament to my pulley more seamlessly. (3) Optimize the water bottle cutter with bearings to automate the process of cutting the bottles to self-direct to the nozzle. (4) Get a better temperature thermometer for the top reading. (5) And finally: get the temperature settings, flow rate, and speed on my 3D printer right so that we can PRINT ALL THE TURTLES WE SAVE!
