Her ThunderShirt and calming collar help ease her stress, but what Luna truly needs is a calm and patient family to give her the love and stability she craves, especially during the holidays.🎁   At almost 2 years old, Luna is a loving and playful dog. She adores belly rubs, cuddles, and spending time with people. She’s great with kids, adults, and other dogs and is very curious about cats. Outside, she’s full of energy, loving zoomies and long walks, but at home, she’s calm, snuggly, and happy to relax by your side.   Luna is crate trained and knows commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “go to your bed.” She does have some separation anxiety and may submissively pee when excited or nervous, but with kindness and consistency, she’s making progress every day. She’s a fan of car rides, hard toys, watching TV, and, most of all, being close to her people.   Luna is such a special girl who just needs a little extra love to feel secure. Want to add a little sparkle to your life?  If so, stop by the Humane Society of Broward County and meet Doc’s Dog of the Week … Sparkle.  This adorable gal is very friendly, but at first, she may appear shy or timid.  Give her time to warm up and she will be your BFF.  Sparkle enjoys cuddles and belly rubs and could earn the nickname “Love Bug.” This cutie walks well on a leash and will stroll next to you gracefully.  She even wags her tail as she passes by the other dogs in the kennels.  Sparkle is curious about her environment but give her time to settle into her new home.  As a recent momma, she has endured a lot in the past few months and wants a home where she will be pampered and loved. She has a severe case, but it will not get any worse and it doesn’t bother her at all. Her zoomies do not look quite like that of other cats, but she still loves to run, play, and cuddle! She also enjoys sitting by a window and watching birds and other critters. Wobbles may require some household adjustments to make it a safe and fun home for her, but the love she’ll give in return will make it 100% worth it. I know I don’t walk like other dogs… some may even say I’m different 😔 But I promise, my heart is full of love, and I can keep up with the best of them in all the ways that truly matter 🙏 My name is Kobe, and I’m a 4-year-old husky who’s been through a lot 💔 I was born with legs that don’t quite work like everyone else’s. By the time I was just 5 months old, my knees had already developed in a way that makes running and climbing stairs a bit tricky for me. And now, my loving human is too ill to care for me anymore 🥺 But despite these challenges, I have so much joy to share.
