It wasn’t my intention to sleep train him last night but after an hour of holding him and trying to rock him to sleep, he bit me hard and my postpartum rage ignited so i had to lay him down to recollect myslef. To my surprise he fell asleep after five minutes of settling and fussing. he woke up every hour after putting him down at 8pm. But within a minute of fussing, he put himself back down each time. Up until last night he was still eating every three hours like a newborn, so I didn’t want to completely cut his feeds off! So i did go in and wake him up at 1am to dream feed but he ended up fully waking after setting him down at 1:20am. He laid there, rolled around, found his fingers, barely fussed and eventually fell asleep at 2 AM without any check-ins! He did wake up at 4:30 to feed again but went back to sleep minutes after putting him down! I am amazed. I havent tried putting him down fully awake yet.
