I thought he was just being hospitable but he had other intentions 😪 I experienced amazing hospitality in both Pakistan and Jordan where locals would show me around, invite me to tea, eat dinner with their family or stay with their family. So I thought this man too was just being hospitable and nice especially since he was heading to pray and had his daughter with him and treated her well in front of me so I thought he was a good person. But turned out he just pretended to be nice and only was nice to me because he wanted me to give him money 😓 I asked him why is he charging me I thought he wanted to genuinely show me the viewpoint and if he mentioned it upfront that he wanted to charge me I would not have gone along with it. He got angry and told me I owe him money cause he showed me around for the last 1 hour and when I said I didn’t have 40 euros he demanded to go to the ATM to withdraw 😪 I didn’t feel comfortable with going to the ATM with him considering how he just showed me what his real intentions were. I gave him 15 euros to make him go away and he was not happy at all and kept asking me to go to ATM 🫠 cause of that I barely had cash for the next day 😅 After he left I quickly took taxi and left the area so I do not bump into him ever again. . . . . . . . . . . . travel scam, travel story, morocco travel tips, travel safety, morocco scam, fez scam
