Come home quickly, my love.😌💕 🐟 Steamed Halibut with Ginger Scallion Sauce Ingredients: 1 halibut fillet ~ 12 ounces Salt to taste 1 Tbsp Chinese cooking wine (Shaoxing wine or michiu) Sauce: 2 tsps neutral oil 1.5 Tbsp ginger, thinly sliced 2 scallion, chopped 1 Tbsp oyster sauce To taste white pepper 1 tsp sesame oil 2 tsps soy sauce Optional: fresh chili, chopped Instructions: Pat dry halibut fillet with paper towels. Sprinkle salt and rub cooking wine on both sides of halibut. Let sit for 10 minutes. Add water in a large pot. Bring water to a boil over high heat. Cover and steam halibut for 12-15 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For the sauce, heat neutral oil over medium heat in a small pan. Add ginger, scallion, oyster sauce, white pepper, sesame oil, soy sauce and chili. Cook for 1 minute. Spread ginger scallion sauce evenly over the top of the steamed halibut fillet.
