here is why I support the Menendez brothers. they had so much evidence to prove their allegations. And new evidence has been found decades after their convictions. they had 50+ witnesses and experts. It’s time to get the justice and it needs to happen now. I am so proud of them. Despite the horrible life and childhood, and being in prison. They haven’t wasted their time and they’ve made good of being confined. They’ve been incarcerated for 35 years and they’ve both done extremely well. They run fantastic groups to benefit other inmates and they help people with their mental health and rehabilitation goals. And Lyle Menendez started a group for s*xually ab*sed inmates, which I just find extremely inspiring. It’s extremely hard to break the cycle of ab*se and they have both done that, instead of carrying it on to other people, they came to terms with what has happened, and they grew from it. And they’ve learnt to love and be more open with people. and bettered themselves from it. I hope this new evidence bring some justice. If not freedom for them because they deserve it. They suffered a horrible horrible life and they both accommodated in prison extremely well, and they found that prison was a safer environment than living at home. They had school essays and letters talking about r*pe. N*ked photographs of the brothers, 50+ witnesses and experts. Medical records. And, Cherri woods who used to send escorts to Jose. She claimed Jose would ask them to petite and as young as 13 years old which they didn’t send, but the girls that did spend the night with Jose claimed they never wanted to go back there no matter how much money was offered. The girls that did spend the night with Jose came back injured, bleeding and traumatised. Now we also have another victim that has come forward of Jose Menendez. Roy Rossello, who was a member of the menudo boy band. Roy claims, Jose and Edgard Díaz r*pped and dru*gged him in the early 80s. Both brothers also remember Menudo members coming back to the house. Erik Menendez said Jose was one of the guys who picked new members. in this clip, Lyle says he’s been incarcerated for 34 years, but since that video was released, its now got to 35 years of incarceration. No one justifies the Menendez brothers actions, but with all the evidence witnesses and experts and new evidence. I would just like to say, today marks Lyle and Erik Menendez’s 35th year of being incarcerated, they need their justicr now. But, happy international women’s day. Here, I’m just appreciating Leslie Abramson and Jill Lansing. They are both fantastic, inspirational lawyers. They are both known very well for defending the Menendez brothers. both Erik and Lyle felt comfortable and cared for by their lawyers. Leslie and Jill treated them with kindness and sympathy and sort of a motherly figure. They are also inspirational for their way they handled that biased court. They had. while defending the Menendez brothers, they faced a lot of biased people in the courtroom, but they did not hesitate, and they show them who’s boss. Leslie Abramson is a fierce, fiery and powerful woman. She shut down any lies, homosexuality allegations against Erik and people being rude to her. She also knew how to argue with straight up facts. And she put people in their place when they were out of line. She is a fantastic lawyer and she got straight to the point and got the job done. Jill Lansing is more calmer, than Leslie, but she was still fierce. She was fantastic at getting her point across. and she was just a fantastic lawyer overall to Lyle Menendez. They are both fantastic women who had a great reputation in their career. When their career hit off back in the early 90s there was lots of gender bias for them because it was seen as a man’s job at the time and we saw this at the Menendez brothers trial, Erik Menendez had doubts at hiring Leslie because he was raised, that a man is in charge and Leslie was obviously a woman. But he soon changed his mind, because of how amazing Leslie was, and really changed his perspective! And Leslie and Jill, both faced gender bias at trial, but they was not humbled down.
