At this point I genuinely think that I have been sick more in the last year and a half, then in the last five years combined. Call it flight attendant flu, or whatever you want, I’m just so sick of being sick. As a new flight attendant I really don’t have the money to Call out from work. But obviously I don’t want to get other people sick either. Also, flying well sick is a really bad idea. Most people don’t know this but you can actually risk bursting an eardrum or even going blind if you fly while having sinus issues. #flightattendant #flightcrew #sickday #greenscreen

Replying to @Emmy The Writer 🍉 I’m open to almost anything at this point! My biggest hurdle is just how little I make per year. If I start working crazy hours, obviously I could make more, but I don’t want to sacrifice my quality of life because then what’s the point? The interest rates are crazy and trying to get a mortgage is insane. But I’m open to unconventional approaches as well! it was kind of a harsh moment when I realize that I didn’t make enough to qualify for a program that is supposed to be there to help people who struggle to qualify for homes. I totally understand that they have to have requirements. It was just sad to see that I didn’t Meet those requirements. But it’s just the beginning! I saw the comment section in your video and it’s crazy to see how many people think that what flight attendants do is just not worthy of a living wage. I’ve said it many times that the majority of flight attendants that I speak to absolutely love their jobs, we just want to be able to afford to do the job. Thank you for amplifying our voices and using your platform Educate on so many different topics. And for anyone thinking of becoming a flight attendant, know that yes we are struggling right now and a lot of us are really trying to showcase the reality of this job.
