I’m Sarah and I’m an American who has been living along the Amalfi Coast for the past 9 years. My Italian adventure began in 2014 when I studied abroad in Rome and instantly fell in love with Italy and its rich culture. This affection led me to extend my stay after the spring semester and find work at a cozy bar in Sorrento during the summer, where I met my now-husband, Luigi. 💍Together we have two kids, Chiara and Sergio James. 🥰 . After that life-changing summer, I went back to the US to graduate college. 👩🏼‍🎓Once I got my diploma, I packed up my entire life and moved to Italy in May 2015 and I’ve been here ever since! 🇮🇹 On my youtube channel, Sarah in Sorrento, I share insights about life in Italy, family experiences, cultural immersion, and valuable travel tips for those planning a visit to Italy. ✈️🍝. I’ll also dabble a bit in some of my interests like acting, beauty, and fashion💄- but that’s an adventure I still have to unravel! 🥰 . During the past few years, I've documented my life on Tiktok & Instagram and in the summer of 2020, I created my own travel agency, Luxama Travel, that’s dedicated to curating bespoke vacations for fellow Italian lovers like myself! ✨🥂 .
