Replying to @the_northern_viking Yes, with my WHOLE chest I am telling you that ethical, preservation breeders do NOT let their dogs stay in a shelter. You won't find them in rescues. They're not on Craigslist or Facebook rehoming groups. Our dogs have LIFELONG insurance against homelessness. And, if our breeder can't take our dogs for some reason, they have a network that steps in. The dog world is small, and they watch out for each other. So no, NOT "all kinds of dogs," are in shelters.
