This is a repost, because it is that time of year. Shanaira was the most gracious, humble, appreciative young woman. What you see here is how she was all the time. This was BEFORE the video of her receiving a car from her best friend. This is the car that had the accident that killed her only son. This was about 18 months before she was killed. Apple sometimes puts together these memories that hit you out of the blue. This one makes me smile AND cry. I chose this song because I feel grateful and honored to be Shanaira‘s mom and Ayden’s’s GiGi. It is a privilege to love them. There’s no past tense, because my love is as current, and as strong as when they came into this world. Their vibrant spirits live on and engulf me every single day.
