Did you know I didn’t start making door hangers until my early 30s? Yep! I didn’t even consider myself the creative type until WAY after I first dabbled in the crafting world. Back in 2013, while my husband was on deployment in Afghanistan, I was home with my three kids, and was on the hunt for a fun hobby to help me keep my sanity! I first discovered door hangers while browsing Pinterest for a craft project. All it took was painting, one door hanger and I was hooked! Slowly, it developed into paint parties, then into a full-on business. But it didn’t happen overnight! It took baby steps to get there. That’s what I want to let you know friend, creativity isn’t so much a “natural talent” as it is a skill you practice. A skill that takes time to develop.
