Adam felt overwhelmed and had difficulty regulating himself while shopping for baju raya at @Inhanna . It took us an hour just to convince him to try on a baju Melayu. It's not that he doesn't want to wear it, but he was struggling to process the information. One effective method to prevent meltdowns among autistic individuals at a store is to provide them with a social story before shopping. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to do so as we were pressed for time. Thank goodness the workers at the store were accomodating and understanding.
